Hello friends! I hope you are all busy campaigning and plotting on when and how to use your Deck of Many Things. I'm very curious how you like it, so leave a comment on the Kickstarter page or on social media. All packages have shipped and had weeks and weeks to arrive, so if you are missing yours, please check your track and trace code.
If you want to follow my other projects, art updates and personal stories, I welcome you to my monthly newsletter. It's a monthly update of what is happening and it often includes pieces and details I don't show outside of it. It also helps me be independent of algorithms to reach you!

Good timezone and a very happy new year to all. It's been two months since the Deck of Many Things Kickstarter funded, and a whole year and then some in preparation and making art. In this update: some words on shipping, and a conclusive cost and income visual!
This is the budget as calculated (without taxes) for the €4.000 goal of the Kickstarter.
It is always hard to calculate precisely, especially on a first project. I expected to sell more Level 1 and 2 tiers, but most of you went straight for level 3: bumblebee deck + pouch, and I cannot blame you. I should have priced the pouches better, I have charged you production costs + fees for them. Another mistake that I made was that these numbers without taxes were fine, but the shipping income still took taxes out of me. I did make a bit more than the KS €5.5K we raised, BackerKit raised some extra coin and I have also sold about 50 decks to gamestores! Overall, all the numbers were higher, and I had to reach into my own pocket to add up the last €500 bucks. That does leave me with a decent stock of Decks that I hope to sell next year!
*so far only 1 parcel got lost underway, let's hope it stays with one!

If you're in the US, it will arrive soon! If you're in Europe and your deck is stuck somewhere, please demand PostNL's action via their helpdesk first. I do not have more information than you can see, but I do notice some packages that I have handed in over a month ago are still in process.. If they give you no solutions, forward it to me so I can take action myself. Either way, let's get everyone's parcel delivered this month!

Hello dear backers, almost all packages have entered the stream of (inter)national shipping and are on their way to you! Some of you notified me that the track and trace website I provided isn't working outside of the Netherlands, I'm sorry about that!

Virtually everything is shipped now, leaving my living room a mess of empty boxes, printouts, wrapping paper and sticker hulls. I will sent out the packages with personalised pouches and all late survey responders on Saturday or Monday.
