We're in the homestretch! I am grateful, tired, and excited to bring this Deck to you.
The Kickstarter runs till Monday, 12PM EST, which is noon. Keep that in mind if you want to upgrade your pledge!

Wow, we reached €5000 with three days to go! This stretch goal unlocks double celebrations. First off, I have released the ‘Personalised Pouch’ add-on. With this, you will receive a black or white velvet pouch with your own design* embroidered on it! Perfect as a special gift or to match your Deck of Many Things to your LARP or Con outfit.
Secondly, I have drawn a random winner out of all 67 backers who won the original Rainbow Canvas (worth €250)**! I will not share personal information here, but the backer number is #47. I will send the winning backer a personal message.
Didn’t win? Help me reach the next stretch goal for another chance, where I will give away the original Bumblebee Canvas (worth €250). This canvas will be randomly assigned to a backer of level 2 or higher.
If we reach €6000, the next stretch goals unlock: giveaway of the Bumblebee Canvas, and a FREE A6 postcard for all backers of level 2 or higher! Which card should I pick to turn into a postcard? Let me know in the comments!

And we will deliver! The Kickstarter exclusive Bumblebee Deck + Pouch is wildly popular, and many of you would like to have a velvet pouch for the Rainbow Deck as well. After consultation with Kapitein Kleerhaak, our expert pouchmaker, we came up with a limited offer of 10 white velvet embroidered Rainbow Pouches, delivered before Christmas.
We will limit the amount of pouches to 1 per backer, so that everyone who wants the Rainbow Pouch with their Rainbow Deck has a chance to get one in December!
You can add this Pouch to your order by changing your pledge, look in the FAQ for help or sent me a message if you have any questions. If they sell out, we might make more, but those will be delivered in January.

We did it! Thanks to you all, the Deck of Many Things - The Colours of Magic is a success!
Yesterday evening, we reached our funding goal of €4000, securing production. We have also unlocked the first stretch goal: beautiful A5 artprints for €12.
And we still have 7 days to go! Tell your friends, your nemesis, your secret lovers, because we are aiming for the Star(s). The next stretch goal is €5000 and then two things unlock! A personalised pouch add-on, with which you can get your own design* on a beautiful pouch. Your rogue is secretly part of a royal family? Give them their own unique Deck of Many Things design!
And there’s more. At this €5000 stretch goal, I will draw a random backer out of ALL backers to select the winner of the Rainbow Canvas (worth €250). Shipping is on me**!
What will happen now? Currently, I just came home from FACTS Comic Con in Ghent to promote our Deck and get as many fans on board as possible. At the end of the Kickstarter, 31 October 12PM (yes, that is noon, my bad), you will get an email from Kickstarter and soon after one from BackerKit, to collect your information for order fulfilment. Give me 48 hours to get everything in order! We will do our very best to get your Deck(s) to your doorstep before Christmas.

Nearly Funded - Behind the scenes

We are 10 days into the campaign, and we’re almost there! I am so grateful for all the support and enthusiasm you share with me.
I’m working hard to finish the last canvases, and then finalise the graphic design of both boxes and cards. I’d like to get your input on this aspect, since that’s one of the things that makes Kickstarter so great. Would you suggest a more sleek and minimal design, like in the mock-up, or more decorative and traditional? Do you have favourite playing cards with a style you absolutely love? Let me know in the comments today!
On the topic of favourites: my favourite card is Fates. I love the painting I made, combining Norse mythology with the fantasy theme, and how the white thread stands out so clearly against the rest of the image. The spell effect of the card is wonderful too: to erase or avoid one event as if it never happened..
I have also finished the Rogue card. Make sure to check out the card spreads to see the new art, and keep an eye on the page in the upcoming days! As said before, thank you for your support and keep spreading the word. Let’s get this project funded!
